TYSOE’S NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN
For the last few years Tysoe residents have been active and vocal in discussing the future of Tysoe for the NEIGHBOURHOOD DEVELOPMENT PLAN. After countless meetings, consultations and inspections the PLAN has been finalised and approved by Stratford District Council to be released for referendum. This will take place on JANUARY 20th in the VILLAGE HALL
Tysoe Parish Council for the year ended 31 March 2021 have been completed and the accounts have been published.
The Annual Governance & Accountability Return is available for inspection by any local government elector of the area of Tysoe Parish Council on application to:

‘The Tysoe Neighbourhood Development Plan 2011-2031 – Referendum Version’
Following receipt of the report of the Independent Examiner on the Reg.17A version Tysoe Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) from 2020, the Local Planning Authority has now decided what action to take in response to each of the recommended modifications set out in the report.
In respect of Natural Environment Policy 6, the decision of the Local Planning Authority differs from that recommended by the Examiner. Therefore, in accordance with Regulation 17A of The Neighbourhood Planning (General) and Development Management Procedure (Amendment) Regulations 2016, the Local Planning Authority must again publicise the proposed amendments to the recommended modifications for a minimum 6 week period, inviting the submission of representations from organisations and individuals on the changes.
Representations on the proposed changes may be made to the Council by no later than 5pm on Friday 29th October 2021. The proposed changes are summarised in the documents below:

Public Consultation – South Warwickshire Council
From 6 September to 24 October 2021 this consultation will be conducted involving a questionnaire open to all, a telephone survey of a representative sample of 600 residents as well as a series of focus groups with residents, our businesses, parish and town councils, voluntary and community groups. Direct feedback from stakeholder organisations will also be sought. Responses will be used to inform Councillors when in December 2021 they decide whether to make a submission to the Government for permission to merge and create a new District Council serving South Warwickshire.

Wolf Run 4 & 5 September 2021
The Wolf run is back and Shipston Home Nursing are proud, once again to be the Charity partner for this brilliant wild running event.
Two years have passed since the SHN Wolf pack “Team Quora” took on the mud in the 2019 Autumn Wolf Run at Offchurch Bury. Gemma our Head of Nursing Services is keen to enter a team again, so please let us know if you would like to join her, raising funds for the Charity!
Over the weekend Shipston Home Nursing support the event running the safety Key Drop.
This is an all-day role, we need to be at the event by 8.15am and are hopefully finished by 4.00pm.
All your drinks and food are provided throughout the day.
We will be provided with mask screens and sanitiser.
Everyone involved will be asked to lateral flow the day before.

Caretaker Vacancy – Tysoe Village Hall
Tysoe Village Hall Committee are seeking a new Caretaker to undertake cleaning and general repair work. The successful candidate will have the ability to multi-task and the physical capability to engage in some manual labour.
He/she will be required to look after and operate simple cleaning machinery, ensuring all waste is promptly and regularly removed and all areas kept clean and tidy.
The applicant will be self-employed or retired, self-motivated and be able to work on their own initiative. Attendance at monthly village hall committee meetings is preferable, but not essential.
The Caretaker is a key holder and, as part of the security monitoring team would ideally be resident in or local to the village. He/she will be the main point of contact for hirers, members of the public, the local authority and committee members.
The hourly rate of pay is subject to agreement, with the number of hours per month flexible, to be agreed with the appointee. As a guide, the current caretaker covers all duties within 15 hours per month.
Induction: The outgoing caretaker is available to assist the new post-holder with their introduction to the Village Hall.

Vacancy – Parish Clerk & RFO
Tysoe Parish Council is looking to appoint a Parish Clerk and Responsible Finance Officer to undertake the administration and financial management of the Council. The Council is seeking a candidate with good organisational, secretarial and administrative skills and with good numerical and financial acumen. The role is part-time (9 hours per week) and permanent. Applicants should live within 15 miles of the village and have an understanding of rural issues.
Key Areas –
Meetings, Policies & Procedures – Manage the monthly meetings of the Council including preparing the agenda, taking the minutes, advising Councillors on procedural/legal matters and progressing actions. This will include attendance at and administration of the Council’s Committees.
Planning Applications – Ensure planning applications are circulated to Councillors, and after consideration by the Council, submit responses to the Local Authorities in accordance with timescales and policies.
Finances – Manage the Council’s finances; preparation of quarterly financial statements, payment of invoices, banking, end of year accounts, submission of accounts for internal and external audit, VAT reclaim, preparing for budget review and precept determination. Scribe is used for financial accounting and training will be provided. Previous experience in accounts is a requirement of the role.
Administration – Deal with correspondence, draft public notices and undertake all necessary administration of the Council. Administer, regularly up-date and review the Council’s website.
Candidates must have at least a year of admin/secretarial work and possess a high standard of oral and written communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office (particularly Word and Excel). They should be capable of working independently without supervision and have the ability to deal with a range of issues. Good interpersonal skills are key as the Parish Clerk is in regular contact with parishioners, suppliers and other agencies. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Local Council would be an advantage. Experience of website maintenance preferable; training will be provided if necessary. A laptop is provided for the role.
Salary: NJC Scale LC1 or 2 scale points 5 to 21 (£10.04 to £13.74 per hour), starting point depending upon experience, CiLCA qualification and transferable skills.
